how to call a asp.net method fron a java script written in sharepoint designer?

I want to add a button in the Sharepoint 2010 profile page thru SharePoint designer and on button click it will call the asp.net method written in visual studio 2010 in Sharepoint 2010 deployment.a method is in data acess layer and that has to be called in the page load of a visualwebpartusercontrol.ascx.cs.on click that data should be inserted to the database.I am not able to call the mathod from javascript in the designer.I dont want to use Ajax or web service.How can this be done?Can you provide some code for this?Can you help?????
