This is the Web application. They have no access to the client local systems. Also, don't think that the users would be happy if they had such "feature". If something is supposed to be at user's control in first place, the users will prefer keeping it under their control. If something appears to be not, all of a sudden, it will just drive the users crazy, nothing more.

this is my requirement and this is intranet application. why both of you telling "don't think that the users would be happy if they had such "feature". That is my client requirement.

Probably because you are using incorrect terminology in your question.

Believe or not, I'm not sure. This could be a requirement of someone who represent the client. I knew so many cases like that. Can you finally get it: a Web application does not have access to the local systems. Security. Explain it to your client.
