How to host SharePoint Sitecollection not web application?

I want to host separate Site collections which are created in share point 2010 in IIS. Please any body can help me in solving the above mentioned issue.

I though you would have to set up a Sharepoint server on your computer for testing anyway, but I might be wrong...
