I need to implement AJAX Autocomplete Extender per client request.
The problem is, in Google chrome, there's this 25px(+) "dead" area between the left side of the AJAX created div, and where the text starts.
To make things even more vexing, what IE interprets as a 245px wide area, Google chrome apparently feel is much larger, but only for the drop down. The same gap between the left side of the AJAX created div and the start of the text, is the distance that the texbox occurrance overhangs to the right of the text box.
Since the verbal explanation is confusing, I've inserted an image of the problem below.
