Gridview Editing ASP.NET

How to display the Confirmation dialog box, if the the field having value in gridview
Otherwise display the text box to enter the value.

Solution 1

See in the Design View u can Set Empty data Field Value Message .So If there is No OUtput From database in grid .It will Show That Message .

<asp:gridview id="Grd1" runat="server" emptydatatext="No value" xmlns:asp="#unknown">

so if the grid is empty it will return Message as No Value
