Where to end the session

Hi all

i am new to C#.Net and i am creating a web application using Visual Studio 2010 and SQL server 2008. i understand what cookies are used for but i dont know how to use them. i have a page where i enter the employee personal details and the other where i should store the work details. so my question is, since i know how to only create a session, how do i access it from the work details page.
