I came across the following article on this site indicating how one may download file versions from SharePoint 2003/2007 (aka "Anti Shunter" code):

Download all the versions of a file from a SharePoint document library[^]

I have a need for a similar capability to operate with SharePoint 2010. I have multiple document libraries with hundreds of files, most of which have anywhere from 2 to 100+ versions each. Short of manually opening and saving each version, I would like to programmatically save all file versions (from a specified document library location) to a specified local directory with the associated version date/time in each file name (versus separating into folders like the Anti Shunter code currently does).

I've searched extensively and haven't quite found the exact solution I'm looking for. Furthermore, provided similar code exists to operate with SharePoint 2010, how does one execute this code (from which application, terminal, etc.)?

Any help is appreciated.
