What happenes to tasks scheduled while a machine is powered down - are they ignored or run on the next startup?

Solution 1

AFAIK, generally ignored and few run on next startup. (For example, antivirus scheduled on Wednesday will run on Thursday if PC was off on Wednesday.)

So, I guess, it's configurable or depends on how it is scheduled.
