Hi,

I am using Crystal Report in built with MS Visual Studio 2005, in design time the Hindi font is displayed properly

i.e. प्रमाणित उपाघि

but at run time it is not displaying properly (Data is displaying in Hindi fonts) i.e. izekf .kr mikf ?k

From above you can see in the second example it is displaying spaces in between the characters.

I have tried following TTF for Hindii:

a) Kruti Dev 110

b) Richa Wide

Please suggest. We are not able to find any solution to this.

Regards

Ramesh

The data that doesn't display correctly - is it from a database? If so, do you have the correct encoding for your database and tables?

There is no such thing as "Hindi font". You are using Devanagari, ever heard of it?
And there is not even such thing as "Devanagari font". This is Unicode. There are fonts which support some Unicode subset, many writing systems at once, and Devanagari is so popular that it is supported on nearly all modern systems by default, event if this is US English locale of Windows (well, Rupee needs a special font, which is a shame).
I have no idea how could you screw up this. I tried to write in Devanagari and several other writing systems in different systems and applications, it always worked for me without installing any additional fonts or any other bothering.
