Hi there...

Just wanted to question if anyone of you know a way to drag and drop items (like buttons) from a stackpanel to another container type (could be a stackpanel too).

"way to drag and drop items ", I do not know about you but I use my mouse to drag and drop item within a drag and drop enabled application.

No need to tell that: it was in your tags in first place. What you have to tag is the UI library of application type you are using (WPF? Forms? ASP.NET? Silverlight? Metro? what?)

You did not specify the environment. If you want to work with wpf, then can look at the following: Drag and drop user controls in wpf[^]

You are right. So, this post may or may not be relevant.

I would like we practiced not answering until OP specifies the detail enough to avoid providing excessive information. For example, drag-and-drop can be applicable to WPF, Forms, Silverlight, ASP.NET, Metro, Windows Phone, and even, say, Android or Cocoa for Mac OS X and iOS (which can be developed with C# using Mono + MonobjC), so, should we bring all the solutions? The only right thing is to wait until OP clarifies that; if not -- the question should better be removed -- there is too many of such questions.
