How can i find how many pages (Paper) printed ?

Hello everyone .
I need to know how many pages have been printed by default printer .
for example when the program is running , a web page printed by fire fox(10 paper)
and a document printed by MS Word(15 paper)
totally 25 page(paper) printed , i need total page(paper) printed by default printer
in computer.
Also
print statement come from different applications.

I assume that what the writer was trying to say is that:

1. He wrote an internet management software that he supplied to his clients.

2. His clients have requested a feature in this software that will inform them of printer activities; like knowing at a glance how many copies of documents were printed at each work station at the Internet Cafe at any given time. (Total Printer output).

3. He is now under pressure to upgrade the software to have this function of being able to compute how many documents were printed at the internet cafe. The upgraded feature should also have the functionality to issue a comprehensive statement that reflects what application printed what, and number of copies. Eg. At workstation 3, Ms Word printed 14 copies, Corel Draw 2 copies, etc. over a given period.

I hope this has put some flesh on the bones of his question.
