file not saving in notepad

Sir,

I am having one problem. I am doing a project in JSP.
After formatting my system,if i am changing content inside notepad(Apache Tomcat-ROOT) I can't save. When i am trying to save it, it is going to save as.

Can anyone of u help me

Solution 1

Uncheck the Read-only property of that file.

Make sure you have permissions to save a file in that folder.
