When we are shooting video from webcam and webcam recognizes the postures of hand and displays information,how does the program know that it is the hand and not others? The Program is Hands Gesture Recognition by Andrew Kirillov.

This does not look like a question. Instead an advertisement of a book.

In case, you have anything specific:
1. TRY first what you want to do! You may find that it's not that hard.
2. Formulate what was done by you that looks like an issue/not working.
