No plug -in is available in Google chrome and firefox

In my Asp.Net web application i have a vlc player which works in IE but not in Google chrome and Firefox.Which gives a message like "No plug-in is available in this content".

Solution 1

Web asp runs fine on IE 9.0.Before I also get an error when running on chrom, but IE is not at fault.
