Problem with crystal report printing

Can any one please solve my problem?

I am developing a restaurant project(windows application) using .net 3.5, c#.
I am using crystal report to print the bill.
I am giving A4 size paper as source to print the bill.
The problem is when I print the bill,Dotmatrix printer rolling out the entire page even when the bill is one line.
I want to stop the rolling when print completed, then I'll tear the paper after the bill printed....So that I can save the paper.

Best suggestions are appriciated....

Solution 1

Can you change the paper size and then do a print to see if no paper is wasted? In this case, you can change the paper size through code for smaller sized bills (I mean paper size ;) ).
