How to change the login screen wallpaper in Ubuntu

In ubuntu 12.04. I cannot change the wallpaper behind the login screen.I tried to put my wallpapers beside system wallpapers, It gave me an error. Thanks in advance for your help.

I just want to learn how to put my wallpapers beside system wallpapers with no error.

Exactly, my 5. I marked the question as off-topic though, because this is just the user-level issue, recommended the Ubuntu forum (and Web search as well).
