multiple jquery modal dialogs.

how do i maintain state of a modal dialog into a modal dialog?
For state, i mean that, I have a gridview in a dialog and in that gridview, i`m having an itemtemplate which is an html anchor tag. When i click onto that, I want the data of the selected item template into the new jquery modal dialog`s textboxes.

Any suggestions would really be appreciable. Thanks.
