Can you please explain the image storage and retrieval in sql server2008 and also explain the code in visualstudio 2010?

Solution 1

Storing and accessing Images from physical application folder is better way as compare to Database.

Solution 2

You store the binary data of the image in a varbinary(max) field in SQL server. You can retrieve this data using, Entity Framework or NHibernate. When you are working with the data in C# it will be in the form of a byte[]
