How can sort a custom list form my main class?

private List<student> sFiles = new List<student>();

class student
        public string sname;
        public char fileName;
        public byte[] binVal;
        public byte [] Out;

        public OCRChar(string iSname,char iFileName, byte[] iBinVal, byte[] iOut,int iRand)

To use deligates what should I change ?

try with sFiles.Sort(delegate(student c1, student c2) { return c1.sname.CompareTo(c2.sname); });
you also can try with lambda expression mentioned in 1st link..
