I've got to make a work (I am a student) of many questions but there is only one of them that disconcerts the most. I've been to multiple websites but none of them where handy. I'm even thinking that such a thing does not even exist. Then, the question is:

Set up a network on Linux manually with Network Manager. Having into account these items: Configuration files, related linux commands, process' control and verification.

The only palpable thing I found is this website:

http://www.wikihow.com/Set-up-a-Network-in-Ubuntu[^]

I'm not really sure if it is enough to get it done properly.

Moreover, this one. Although it does not reply to the provided question I queried above directly.
