Using WCF UpdateException

I'd like to know when we can use

WCF UpdateException

I mean under what condition? I found one condition ; if we have ForeignKeyRelationship in our database, we can use this exception ( if one table link to the other) .
Just want to get confirm. I'm new in WCF and using some of its exception.
Pls help me asap. Thanks in advance
