Hi!

I've spent last few days googling and searching for working code which will help me to detect incoming phone calls (my PC and phone are connected to same router), but to no avail.

Can you give me advice and/or guidance for developing such program?

Is TAPI good choice?
There aren't that many resources with source code to begin with and great deal of those I have found are almost 10 years old.

Is there a good library/API/SDK which you can recommend me? I prefer free and open source products as would like to make tweaks or go to lower level in future, but I would consider proprietary products as well.
Those I have found, well I have trouble in building them or running properly.

Am I missing something important?

My short term goal is to achieve detecting phone calls, but I don't intend to stop there.

Kind regards,
O.D.
