I have edited my questions. In short, I want the event text to appear in a div-box instead of in a textarea-box.

An alternative solution, instead of an textarea or div-box, would be to have a tooltip function where I can edit the text within the tooltip

1 - what do you mean by 'make the event appear' ? Please edit your post to add detail.
2 - by using a b or em tag
3 - by putting an img tag in there
