Export excel - microsoft.ace.oledb.16.0' provider is not registered on the local machine

I am trying to export table data in excel and end up getting this error.

Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.16.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.

Export in flat file works all good, but failing for excel.

What I have tried:

Tried exporting in all possible Excel versions with appropriate file extensions viz .xls, .xlsx

Solution 1

Working with data in Excel or Access requires the appropriate driver be installed:
Download Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable from Official Microsoft Download Center[^]
