We can't answer that as a question - it is just far, far to broad a subject.
It's a bit like asking "I want to write a book, a bit like this one, but with different characters, and a different plot. How do I get the hero out of the rubbish bin in chapter 4?"

You need to start at the beginning - a course or a book is a very good idea. If a book, look at the publishers McGraw Hill, Addison Wesley, or Wrox, but avoid any with "in xx days", "for dummies" or multiple exclamation marks in the title. By preference, get one in your native language, so that it is easier to understand and follow, then read it all the way through, doing the exercises.
