Dump single SQL table to folder using PHP scrip

I want to dump single sql table to folder using php script , i got script to dump entire database but not single table , anyone can help ?

What I have tried:

exec('mysqldump --user=... --password=... --host=... DB_NAME > /path/to/output/file.sql');
