Do I have to use machine learning for keystroke dynamic ?

So i would like to do project on a secured digital wallet using multibiometric system. Multibiometric system which involves fingerprint ( physiological ) and keystroke dynamics ( behavioral ) . The main objective of my project is i will be focussing more on authentication aspect.

i have found this keystroke dynamic coding in github. https://github.com/michasacuer/Keystroke-dynamics as my reference. Do this github use machine learning?

What I have tried:

I have run it into my Android Studio and it runs smoothly but i cannot find any coding of machine learning related to it . So, i am having big confusion about this.

Hope somebody can help me. I really need your help.
