// write the code to:
   // - allow the user to enter any amounnt of numbers
   //   from 0 to 50
   // - the user should enter -1 to stop
   // - you are responsible for tracking occurrences of
   //  all numbers entered (0-50)
   // - print the number of occurrences of each value
   // - for example:
   // left column is the value, right column occurrences
   //   0   0
   //   1   3
   //   2   6
   //    ...
   //   50  1
   // hint: you are required to use an array
   // to track occurrences

pseudo-code
initialize occurrences[0 to 50] to 0
num = 1

while num is not -1
{
   read num from the console

   if num is in the range 0 to 50
      add 1 to occurrences[num]
   else if num is not -1
      tell the user that num is out of range
}

for i from 0 to 50
{
   write i and occurrences[i] to the console
}

While we are more than willing to help those that are stuck, that doesn't mean that we are here to do it all for you! We can't do all the work, you are either getting paid for this, or it's part of your grades and it wouldn't be at all fair for us to do it all for you.

So we need you to do the work, and we will help you when you get stuck. That doesn't mean we will give you a step by step solution you can hand in!
Start by explaining where you are at the moment, and what the next step in the process is. Then tell us what you have tried to get that next step working, and what happened when you did.

If you are having problems getting started at all, then this may help: How to Write Code to Solve a Problem, A Beginner's Guide[^]

In order to implement the Greg Utas solution, have a look at Java Arrays[^].
