I hope all the microcontrollers can be supported _by_ them. And which sources can be supported by the microcontrollers depends on what you want to do.

And neither of those is renewable.

Microcontrollers don't know (or care) where power to drive them comes from - indeed some are so low power that annoyingly they will run pretty happily even if they are not connected to their power supply, just from the signals on their input pins.

Provided the power supply is reasonably stable (the more the better as the processor speed increases) most uC devices will be fine.
