problem in cleaning alfresco

we are facing problem in deleting files in alfresco 6.1 .It shows out of memory error.Please suggest any solution?

First suggest you to increase your Permanent Generation (PermGen) Size.
post errors.

we have alfresco running on 32 bit jvm so we cannot make the size greater than 2048M
