How do I enable HTTPS for my wordpress site

I have a Wordpress site and I would like to have a green padlock for the url, unfortunately https://[REDACTED] is redirecting to http://

What I have tried:

I have already changed Site Url and Wordpress Url to https://[REDACTED], reset all permalinks, I have even changed .htaccess mutliple times but still to no avail. I'm not sure what could be causing this issue..

Please lmk if any additional info is needed to help find a solution.

Solution 1

To have HTTPS, SSL Certificate is needed to be installed on the server.
