How to associate a field template and a filter template to the same data field in dynamic data web application

I have a data field which needs to be associated to a field template and a filter template both. But if i use two UIHint attributes the data field recognises only the first one tagged. How to handle such a situation. I have tried FilterUIHint but it is not recognised as a valid attribute in my project. Please advise.

Solution 1

Hey, I have finally found the solution to this. The field and filter template must carry the same name. So that in the metadata only one UIhint attribute is associated with that field.
