When you're no longer wet-behind-the-ears, as it were - you'll see that the first and second sentences of your question _really_ don't belong together. In the future, please edit your original question, do not just resubmit what is essentially the same question!....

You see, it may make not a lot of sense. P2P is not a technology, it's rather a conception. When you lean networking with sockets, first thing you will be able to do is implementations of P2P scenarios. More importantly, you will get a chance to understand what it is.
