Query of website development using joomla template by adding asp web pages .

I have downloaded a template of joomla(php) and i have work in asp.net environment only.so,i want to confirm you that is it possible to develop website by adding asp web pages with joomla template index file.if yes then how to do it please tell me the solution of it step by step?
