hi Experts.
i want code for to know the count for how many emails are opened sent from our email address and also know the email is delivered or not. i am using code smtp credentials for sendind an email.. please help me..

You can't do it.

There are mechanisms which ass a read-reply to an email, but not all systems implement it, and most will prompt the use that you have requested one before sending the reply anyway.

While it would be handy, there is also no way to detect an undeliverable mail - some systems will reject them if the email address does not exist on the domain, but again many won't.

It may be possible to get a rough count of opened emails by setting an ASPX handler for an image within the mail, and counting when the image is accessed, but that is also not necessarily very accurate as many systems do not show images in emails by default.

To be honest, while it would be useful for legitimate purposes, I'm quite glad this doesn't work in the real world - we would have a lot, lot more spam and such junk emails if it did as they would immediately know which is a live and which a dead address.
