javascript and button event problem

i am doing some calculation by using java script
assign to to text box and labels
if i am make any other button click
all data are lost

i used update panel also

so u known zoho.com in that there invoice making system i want make like that just login in to https://www.zoho.com/invoice/ and click invoice menu

Are you doing a Postback?
If so, you may have lost data in variables that can easily be saved on a control (like hidden controls etc)

for example you function name is "myFunction()" and you want to stop this, you can use

myFunction(); return false;
