Call to undefined function mssql_connect()

Hi,
I want to connect sql server 2008 with php. I used mssql_connect() function but got error as undefined function. I edited php.ini file to uncomment for extension php_mssql.dll but while restarting the services got error as unable to find dynamic library. My php version is 5.3.8. Where can i get the php_mssql.dll file of version 5.3.8. Pls help to find solution
