If using LINQ, can we make use of Microsoft Application Blocks?

Other than using application blocks, how can we effectively do excepetion handling in web applications?

You can use LINQ if you are using .Net 3.0 and above. LINQ per se has nothing to do with Microsoft Application Blocks.

Yes, LINQ is a language oriented feature while Application Blocks are technology oriented. Linq comes with Framework, and you can easily use it just by adding System.Core.dll.

To Abhinav,
Just to remind, LINQ is introduced in .NET 3.5 not in 3.0.

Cheers.
