project for smart card reader/writer

Hi I m working on a project which read/write data from a smart card(like ATM ,visa card)
But i have no idea that which card and card reader/write i use.
1) which is compatible with c#.
2) And store data upto 1MB.
Tell me about the model of smart cards and reader/writer (Device).

I would start Googling[^] for.
Just be sure the smart card satisfy your requirements (memory and software API).
