Hi,

I'm trying to connect an Apple IPad 3 to an Exchange User using Exchange 2003 ActiveSync. I've followed this tutorial to do so:
Exchange 2003 and Activesync Configuration and Troubleshooting

My setup is on an internal network used for testing and does not have access to the net. This means that I cannot test my configuration by using the Microsoft Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyzer

Since my setup is internal, I'm using a self signed SSL certificate which I've done by using this tutorial:
Create a Self-signed SSL Certificate for IIS6 - Windows Server 2003

When looking at the logs found at C:\Windows\System32\LogsFiles\W3SVC1, I can see when from the IPad I'm trying to make an http (port 80) connection, however there are no logs when trying to connect with SSL (port 443). The log lines for port 80 show an http error of 403.

I've installed WireShark to try and capture network traffic and I can see the port 443 communications. So I don't know why this is not being shown in the logs of W3SVC.

Any help would be more than greatly appreciated!! I've been running round in circles for the last few days and at this point I'm really desperate as I don't know what I could try any more.

Thanks in advance for all the replies!!
