Looking for a free .net Map Control Winforms

Does anybody know of a free Map Control for WinForms?

I want to draw lines in a map style rather than in a graph style. I don't need to connect to the web so I'm trying to avoid the costs of Google Maps and Bing maps. I'm tempted to use ZedGraph and try and lose the axis but showing a raster in the background would be good too.

There is this massive list of GIS controls
SharpMap seems to fit my bill.
