Hi all, im using keith wood count down timer: http://keith-wood.name/countdown.html

the layout is too plain, i wanted to put some background to make it looks nicer. for example, yellow background color for Days, green background for hours...etc

but im not able to change it, anyone familiar with the code can help me?
the code is too long, but you able to download it at his web site.

"Not able to" is nothing we can deal with. What you described is an easy task - but we rarely do the job for anybody else. And it seems a CSS task not a jquery one. This is the css you will need to download and refine to match your needs: http://keith-wood.name/css/jquery.countdown.css[^].
You will probably need to learn some css for that. Start here:

tq, but i solved it by just using paint to draw the background and attach it. :)

Yes, I thought that. That is why yo need to learn a little bit. I suppose the "paint based solution" is not a solution.
