I saw your question related to retrieving RSSI using DeviceIoControl running under Windows7
I experienced the same issue with no solution at present.
As you did I verify that other OID_GEN_XXX or OID_802_3_XXX queries work well while any OID_802_11_XXX query don't.

Have you found a solution or this? Did anyone suggest you a solution?
