How to send a recovery password in asp.net

How do I send a recovery password using Outlook that is on my server, an email address? My database that has the email address and password is on a server and the user forgot their password. They can go to a page that has a password recovery in it and enter their email address that matches the email address in the database. If they match then the password can be emailed. How can I make this work?
