problem in sql server connecction in mvc4 .net

I am using code first to create model in asp.net mvc4 .but i am not able to connect to the sql server database as told in the tutorial for mvcMovies .what are different ways we can use database in asp.net mvc.please help me

"what are different ways we can use database", there are many ways.
"i am not able", meaningless unless you tell us what error you are getting or why you think that you are unable.
"tutorial for mvcMovies", a link would have been more helpful. Since it is a tutorial and you say that you are having troubles, the most likely reason is that you missed a step. You need to go back and re-read the tutorial very carefully and follow all of the steps.
