Hi I have bought a camera and wish to write a program can detect the number of people in the video while the camera is capturing. Do anyone know how to do it with visual basic 6. Please help

VB6 is no longer supported. VB.NET Express is freely available from Microsoft... I would recommend using that instead.

Having said that, what you are proposing is not a trivial task. Firstly, you need to differentiate between people and other objects (pot plants, dogs, shadows etc), in real time!

What are you trying to achieve, and why?

Solution 2

I have a circuit if reach amount of people it will trigger the output. As i have bought the camera with some source code is written in vb 6. So do anyone have example or website for refering.
