Help me please!
I always encounter this error whenever I connect vb.net to mysql:

Authentication to host 'website' for user 'username' using method 'mysql_native_password' failed with message: Access denied for user 'username'@'ip address' (using password: YES)

what should I do?
I already granted the user using cPanel. How can I solve this?

Solution 1

Did you perform a FLUSH PRIVILEGES on your mysql server after granting ?
Forgetting that is a common source for this kind of problem.

I just set a remote access privilege in cPanel.
