how deleteing multi records with sqlcommand

I have a List<string> named listiID.

list<strin> listid=new list<string>;
...

then I want to delete database with sqlcommand based on this list.
commandtext ="delete mytable where recordid in(select ???)
i dont know input after select.
please help me.
