Barcode Reader

I am stuck with this problem.

I am using a handheld barode reader namely DATA LOGIC MEMOR...
If I scan barcode label and it is found in the database,
the program should automatically display "CONGRATS" without pressing the enter key.

Help please!

Solution 1

If you know how long a barcode is, then when the reader puts text into your textbox, you can handle the text changed event, check for the right length, and then go off and do your DB call.

Please don't confuse things by reasking the same question. Just stick to one question per post.
