How to Decrypt mysql Database Tables column that is already encrypted.

i have a databaase table named User, with two columns id & pwd.
i have encrypted the pwd column by using the following code of mysql...

update User set pwd = AES_ENCRYPT(pwd,'root').

The pwd column was succesfully Encrypted.
Now i want to Decrypt it back to view its original data.
Plz assist me.
